I was told to eat a bowl of porridge before I had my bodytite procedure. My partner was more nervous than I was and I arrived at the clinic quite chilled out. I had to try on the support garment to make sure it fit and then my surgeon came in and went through the consent form, possible side effects and aftercare. I then stripped to my underwear and the areas that were being treated were marked in ink. I was then taken to the operating room to start my treatment and I had 2 small incisions on my bikini line and 2 incisions on my back and I just felt a sharp scratch. I was given a local anaesthetic and I found this part the most painful, but I just grit my teeth and clenched my fists. Once I was knumb my Dr began melting the fat and sucking it out. I felt at ease throughout the procedure and was kept occupied by the Dr and his assistant. The sensations that I experienced ranged from being massaged, to having an object rubbed on my skin - at no point did I feel as though there was anything under my skin. When the doctor was going near sensitive areas, he actually massaged the skin above which took the sting out. I was asked to stand up so he could see how it looked and then he concentrate on areas if they needed any more fat taking out. I was there about 4 hours and was thoroughly looked after throughout. There was alot of fluid leaking from the incisions and even though these areas were heavily bandaged, i did leak through the night. I took some painkillers when I got in and I slept fine through the night. I did wake up this morning aching all over my back, so I have just spent all day lying down watching tv. I have felt fine apart from when I have to get up and then my back does ache, but apart from that I have felt fine.

Hi
I am having my bodytite procedure today and will keep this blog updated with my progress. I am having my upper and lower abdomen, flanks and back done. I have measured myself this morning and my waist is 31" and my hips are 37".
I went for a consultation for vaer lipo and bodytite and decided on the bodytite procedure over vaser lipo, because bodytite also tightens the skin. I have lost 3 stone since January but my stomach isn't in proportion with the rest of me and I do have some saggy skin.
I will take some before and after pictures

Hi
I did start my blog the other day but I must of done something wrong!
I had my implants done on Tuesday and I was little worried with how swollen they became so I had a look at other posts on here and what they experienced. It put my mind at ease, reading that what I was experiencing was pretty normal, so I thought it might be a good idea to start a blog on my recovery etc.
I had my appointment at about 10am on Tuesday and it was pretty straight forward. I purposely didn't watch any video footage on how it is done as I thought that may put me off. I was given several injections to knumb the area and all I experienced was a tugging sensation. It only took about 20 minutes to complete the procedure and I must admit that my lips were swollen but one side of my bottom lip was bigger than the other, but I was assured that this was normal, and to expect for my lips to swell up some more. I had already started my anit-biotics the day before and was told to take ibrupophen for the pain and was presecribed some eye oinkment that I was to put on the wounds to help stop infection. By the time I got home my lips were huge and I looked hideous, lol. They were as big as Pete Burns but my philtrum was so swollen that it looked how Lesley Ash's looks. At this point I did get a bit worried but luckily I was able to read posts by Rich Tea and other people on this forum who also described themselves as looking like Pete Burns and Lesley Ash! My lips did get worse before they got better and you will probably be really shocked by some of the photos that I took. My face from under my nose, down to my chin was severely bruised and my skin did start to peel on my lips, even though I smothered them in vaseline to keep them moistered. I have had to eat using a teaspoon and I have struggled to drink without dribbling down myself and I also found brushing my teeth a bit of a nightmare. The swelling has really gone down but my lips feel really tight and my philtrum is still swollen and I am praying that this goes down completely. I go back to the clinic on Tuesday for a check up and I'm sure that the swelling will have gone down some more.
I will update my photos as I recover
Thanks

Hi Everyone
I am seriously considering having permalip implants and would love any advice from anyone who has already gone through this. I have had fillers in the past and don't like that it has to be regularly topped up. My only concerns with permalip are, that I read on this forum that someone was rejected because their lips were too thin and that thin lips might only get a subtle change. My top lip is barely there and I would love to have a decent set of lips. I live in Nottinghamshire, but am willing to travel anywhere to see a highly recommended surgeon.
Thanks
