hiya im new here and im looking for a good ethnic rhinoplasty surgeon, after much research i am considering two surgeons ian mackay and bassim matti although i'd love to go with matti he is just to expensive. I am taking a loan out to do this so please if there is anyone of ethnic background thats had good results with either surgeon? any help is much appriciated. I wide bulbous nose ;(

Well I am a 28 year old girl who hates her nose!

As long as I can ever remember I have always thought my nose is terrible I've always thought about getting it done but just made the decision in the last couple of months.

Went to a consultation with Transform which went ok but not really sure about them tbh.

Went to an open night at La Belle Form & met Taimur Shoaib & was really impressed with him.

Had a 5 min free consulation & he...

I just wanted to thank all you ladies on this site who gave me the reassurance I needed.

My husband was a nervous wreck all weekend - he couldn't talk about my op - so reading your blogs really helped.

I'm so pleased with my new tummy - definitely worth the pain so far!!! Coughing is excruciating - and getting out of bed is a work of art - drains. Drips & oxygen to negotiate!!! I actually managed to sleep - and im eating small quantities at a time...

I'm first on the morning list ...thats 8.30 on Thursday 2nd Feb at Elyzea in Brussells, I'm sooooooo nervous not for the pain or how they will look or even my nipples dropping off anymore lol ...i'm getting really worried i won't wake up from the anaesthetic and i'm being really selfish doing this ...leaving my husband and two children at home and take serious risks for vanity!!!

Well as you can tell by the title I'm finally booked in for my rhinoplasty. It took longer than expected but we got there in the end.

I imagine it doesn't take this long normally. The problem was during my first proper consultation with the surgeon. I had decided to take my sister with me for support. During the surgeon asking me questions she told him that I was taking anti-depressants, when I'm not.

I was diagnosed with depression 2 years ago and it is ongoing but ...

Dermal fillers - who to go with please help?

Hello everyone, I am thinking of getting dermal fillers - can anyone advise me on who to go with as there are so many surgeons and nurses that do this procedure but I am scared I might go with the wrong person and have my face messed up.

I am searching for the right surgeon to perform a revision rhinoplasty. I have been to see Bassim Matti for a consultation. He told me that my bridge would need to be built up again as too much was removed; it will probably be from cartiledge taken from ear or my rib (ouch) and that he will refine the tip and narrow the nostrils so that it is proportion again. I am new to this site, after many years of putting up with my nose i am considering rhinoplasty as it is affecting my confidence as time goes by. Well I am now on Day 4 after having the operation at the transform hospital in Altrincham, Manchester with Mr Persico.

On the day of the operation, I was quite relaxed suprisingly. The hospital was really nice and the staff were lovely. I wondered if anybody has had rhinoplastry with Elyzea? i have my consultation on the 17th of December in london and im hoping to book the surgery for Febuary 2011, I have wanted a nose job ever since i can remember but can not afford the uk prices. i have been searching the net but there are no reviews regarding rhinoplastry at elyzea yet ive read good reviews for them for over procedures, can anyone advise?
